BAND OF BROTHERS EP 5 Full Reaction

dont feel bad about pausing to express your thoughts. we've all seen the series and if we wanted to watch it uninterrupted, we would just do so! we are here for YOU, so don't be afraid to share. even when you said that you're preaching to the choir, yes you absolutely are, but at the same time, there's entertainment in watching you come to the same conclusions that we came to on our own at one point. plus your service history means that you have a unique outlook on the show and sharing your experiences and insights makes it more entertaining. other people might not share my opinion but I hope that they do

Yeah those are fantastic elements

This is also directed by Tom Hanks. His transitions from the typewriter to the sounds of guns and the whole train in France sequence is among my favorites of the entire series.

The more I watch this series, the more I appreciate this episode for what it is. The title "Crossroads" has so many meanings. Not only is it primarily about a combat operation that took place at a crossroad, but the transition of Dick Winters in his command role, the transition of life before and after PTSD which is shown in so many of the shows characters, and then the transition from airborne infantry to getting thrown onto the front line to reinforce the regulars. I just now realize how it is also a huge tone setter between the two halves of this series. Bastogne is just a whole other monster. "Crossroads" on many, many different levels. I am really enjoying your reaction and your commentary and can't wait for the next couple of episodes.

I have not seen peaky blinders and it is definitely on my radad..and thank you for this I'll have to go back and check alot of these out😁

Raymond Walker

Damian Lewis (the guy who plays Winters) has done a lot of things over the years. 'Billions', 'A Spy Among Friends', and 'Homeland', to name a few. He was married to Helen McCrory (known for 'Peaky Blinders' and being Draco Malfoy's mother in Harry Potter). She unfortunately passed away in 2021 to cancer. Speaking of 'Peaky Blinders' it would be fun watching you react to that, if you haven't already seen it!
