The first two Alien movies are great, the third is okay, and the fourth has only one scene I like, so you might guess how it falls off. I feel like Alien was a masterpiece in sci-fi horror. The suspense it builds, and barely showing the alien throughout most of the movie is done so well. It also worked so well within the technical constrictions of the time it was made.
