I put it through a few programs to restore as much of the audio as i could..there are some moments were I yell and it cuts the mic out. Hopefully It was a one off issue. The next episodes should all be better quality. I apologize for the inconvenience. I do so many checks before i start recording but sometimes issues are just unavoidable. Regardless, the episode was amazing and I hope those moments still resonate for you all.

Are you going to watch "The Pacific" (the companion series) afterwards? It is also Spielberg+Tom Hanks+HBO and of similar quality. Would love to see that, if nothing else just for 10 more episodes of quality tv.

2023-06-14 21:47:17 +0000 UTCThe British 1st Airborne suffered such high casualties because they expected Allied Tanks to reach them in 3 days but the tanks were stopped and never made it. After holding out for nearly two weeks what was left of the 1st Airborne abandoned it's wounded and tryed to make it back across the river as best they could. Unknown to Allied planners the Germans had moved 2 SS Panzer Divisions into Arnhem the British objective just before the jumps for rest and refit so the Brits jumped into hell basically.
