Vote on the future of SHO!

Hey guys, Vechs here!

First, thank you guys so much for teaching me and giving me an opportunity to learn so much about running a multiplayer server, and not just that, but one with a totally custom Minecraft experience.   I feel like I could write a book on command block operations now.

Anyway!

I have big plans for new content for SHO, but I feel like the game experience  might be even better if the server is reset to a pristine launch condition.

This would give me an opportunity to re-balance the economy, completely rework player housing, and basically take the server down, work on it easily and re-launch it with lots of new content for you guys.

I want to save some things as surprises, but to give you some idea of where I want SHO to go, I want to have:

- A focus on progression and exploration.  I loved the feeling of having to run through some levels of a dungeon to get to another, so expect attunements and checkpoints, and not having a TP directly to each floor.

- An end-goal where you battle through 48 adventure dungeons, and every 3rd dungeon you can enter a wool dungeon which plays out like throwback areas from Super Hostile, resulting in 16 wool dungeons to conquer.

- Secret dungeons and pathways hidden around that you can find.   :)

... and I also want more detailed feedback from you, so please go to:

And let me know what you think!  :)

Until next time...

As always...

... remember to put r=X radius restrictions on repeating command blocks otherwise you create a horrifically unspeakable lag machine! :D

To add to what other have said about the gear being all over the place, I've several sets of iron gear for weapons and armor just because I like to hoard things and never actually use them. The whole gear system is broken, especially with some people having things from various exploits at launch.

Some of us have far less than others, I'll hasten to add. EDIT: Speaking for myself, all I have to my name is a marginally decent bow that will die eventually, a handful of arrows, a meagre food source and some stone axes/swords. Not exactly game-breaking for someone who prefers a more relaxed gameplay experience anyway.
