Its definitely intentional and fits the atmosphere perfectly..it might have been the thunderstorms somewhat as well..when I was stationed in Japan I was stationed in Sasebo but of course a visited Fukuoka Osaka Tokyo and Hokaedo just to name a few places. I was there for 4 years so I explored alot

I felt like you were either nodding or smiling through most of it, except the strange Taka parts lmao. Watching it this time, when she's placing the armor and rests her head on his back, it does feel like she's trying to feel a semblance of her husband, because she mentions how much the kids miss him, so obviously she's in pain too. Then again, I guarantee Hollywood needed romance in the film one way or another. For me, take out the romance and it's a 11/10. I wonder if the thunderstorm and having to break it up a few times ruined the flow? Genuinely this was by far the best reaction to the film I've seen so far. Like you said, it can't be everyone's cup of tea, so I absolutely respect it, and can't thank you enough for checking it out with us! Which part of Japan did you visit? What all did you do there? It's absolutely my number one place to visit sometime. Also, in your last episode of Chernobyl, you mentioned how (I think it was the music) was almost nauseating, I did the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme hahahaha, exactlyyyyy how that show made me feel!!!
