The Future of URBoF
Added 2016-04-17 13:52:49 +0000 UTCHi! I'm excited to finally have a reason to update via creator posts, so I think I'd kick it off with a spoiler about an upcoming video I should be releasing at the end of this month or so, whenever I get time to make it.
I've been thinking about it for a while but I've decided to not do a Season 4 of URBoF, and there was a lot of buildup to this point, making people think that URBoF was to be dead after Battle 50.
Which was silly. I never confirmed anything, only hinted in various places to achieve this desired effect.
What's actually happening is the series will be "Rebooted". I'm working on a new intro sequence and logo, and we're going back to Season 1 and starting over from Battle 1. Any character or series previously used is up again for grabs, and I'm also abolishing the "one person from a series in non-royales" rule although it'll still be mostly single characters from a series for the most part, it just won't be a hard rule anymore. Old URBoFs will be re-titled to "CLASSIC URBoF", probably.
This also means I can go back and re-do some older battles in the continuity of the new season--I plan on remastering two URBoFs and one IRBoC at this point, but that's subject to change.
