I wrote a novel in the comments on the YT channel, but the only point I'd make here is that I think this is how the Bryce Gillies 'case' would have ended up, had he not had the ability to make a farewell recording.

I’m definitely open to the idea that the membrane between our reality and the unknown is thinner than we’d like to believe, but honestly the vast majority of occurrences boil down to bad decisions and happenstance.
