August Progress Report

Eight months, three game updates and two sets of proofreaders later, I'm still finding typos, double spaces between words, and the like.
At any rate, THE ARTENING continues apace. Albeit in a different order than I originally envisioned. Here's the first of the new pages featuring new artwork:

The setting is written to enable a Gundam-esque narrative, following around a ship in which the cast live. While various ship types were mentioned before, I'd never written or shown the ones that can participate in battle, and I wanted to amend that.
I've also been touching up some pages here and there. Of note here is the Character Details page. For that one I rewrote the questionnaire because it was like 6 years old and I've figured out better questions to ask since then. I also added a bit of art to it. Here's how it looks now:

I've had that picture and have been trying to include it somewhere as an example of an alternative PC concept for a while, but none of the appropriate setting pages had the space for it. Well, I made the space for it below the questionnaire, which now mentions uplifted animals as a possible character concept. It's two birds with one stone.
Another thing you might notice when you get your hands on the next version is that some of the art has been reshuffled around. I've been doing that because I figured some of the pieces would be more appropriate elsewhere. I'm not spoiling those, you'll have to find them yourselves.
That's it for now. If everything goes according to plan I'll be showing you the final three new pieces of art and their pages next month.
Gimmick Out.
