Try BrickHawk's new dashboard!

Hello Patrons :)

It's release day! This one has been a long time coming, however a lot of groundwork had to be done to get it off the ground.

A new dashboard!

A couple of months ago Alan won the best ideas for BrickHawk competition, with his excellent idea for a new dashboard/landing page for BrickHawk. Here's the brief:

So I'm thinking a better dashboard with: 

* current deals (filterable by theme/store/hawk) - sometimes I might want to buy something just because it's super cheap, not because I'm actually watching it. e.g If Myer has a set 50% off,  I'm probably going to want to buy it.
* upcoming releases - I currently set calendar reminders when big sets come out (e.g. ? block this week). Having a list of items releasing this week would be mint!
* availability of rare or hard to find sets (retired, soon to be retired etc) - I don't want to waste hawks on sets that may never become available again. Being able to jump on these when they reappear would be great.

Alan's idea was awesome, and now the first version of it is ready for you to try - exclusive to Middle Hawk, Big Hawk and Ultimate Hawk patrons!

To try the new dashboard, head over to brickhawk.com and you should see the following link to activate the dashboard:

Once the new dashboard loads, you'll have two new lists of sets - New releases, and Retiring soon:

These two views have a filter allowing you to see all sets, Hawked sets, and any sets from the themes that you have enabled THEMEHAWKS! for.

Plus, there's a new "loading" experience

To make it clearer that BrickHawk is loading in new data, content loading placeholders now show as you switch filters or reload the data. This new experience will be rolled out across BrickHawk - retailer listings, theme listings, etc - however for now it's just on the new dashboard, and looks like this:

Your feedback is needed!

As mentioned, the dashboard is ready for you to try. And your feedback is welcome - and needed - to make it the best it can be! What works, what doesn't work, what else does it need? 

More filters, sort options, and more pages of sets are already in development, however your feedback and input will make sure it's the best it can be.
