More sorting and filtering, eBay availability and offers, and an upcoming feature!

Hello Patrons!

It's release day - and also a day to update you on some releases that you might have seen over the last few weeks :)

Sorting and filtering prices per set

The same sorts of filtering and sorting available on the retailer pages is now available when you are looking at current prices and change history for an individual sets. Firstly, you can now hide all retailers that are known to be Out Of Stock:

Handy on those older sets where a lot of retailers no longer have the set in stock. You can also sort the retailers by price (ascending or descending), historical low price, and historical high price:

This is useful if you want to know the lowest price ever on a set - just sort by "Historical lowest price" and look for the "L" (for Low) under the availability.

Over on the "Change History" tab there have been some improvements as well. As BrickHawk captured more and more price, offer and availability changes, this page was getting quite long as it listed every change for every retailer. It's now paginated, has some sorting and also allows you to filter by change type and/or retailer. Want to know all the price changes for the Passenger Train at retailer Big W, sorted by lowest price? Easy:

The sorting and filtering options above are all "sticky", meaning that when you set them, they will stay set until you change them or switch them off again. It would be great to get your feedback on the "stickiness". Love it? Hate it? Want to see it on the retailer listings as well? Please share your thoughts...

These sorting and filtering options are available exclusively to Patreon patrons. Thank you so much for your ongoing support!

eBay availability...

...has arrived! BrickHawk is now tracking the availability of eBay listings, which not only means you will get alerts when sets go in and out of stock, but also allows you to hide Out Of Stock sets in the retailer listings. This is particularly useful for a retailer like Myer, as they always create new listings on eBay rather than re-use old listings, resulting in... a lot of listings! You can see the difference when you toggle the "Hide Out Of Stock" switch - 109 pages of total listings is reduced to just 2 of listings that are In Stock:

Right now BrickHawk is only tracking Australian eBay sellers, but if any Patrons in other countries would like an eBay store added, please don't hesitate to email it through to info@brickhawk.com, or comment below.

eBay coupon codes

BrickHawk is attempting to capture these too (e.g. "15% off with coupon. Max $300 off"), and for some eBay stores it seems to be working. They can be "flappy" - i.e. they come and go and come back again resulting in extra alerts, but perhaps that's a small price to pay for being alerted to the fact that a coupon code is available to sweeten a LEGO deal!?

It does suggest a potential improvement to the offer alerts though - the ability to prevent offer alerts being sent if the offer is revoked (i.e. stopping hawk alerts that look like: "Offer: [EMPTY] (previously: 15% off with coupon. Max $300 off)"). Would this feature be useful? Perhaps a quick Patreon poll is needed to see :)

Upcoming feature - BrickHawk Insights!

This new feature has been in the making for some time now, and when it's launched it will be available exclusively to BrickHawk's Big Hawk and Middle Hawk patrons.

BrickHawk Insights aims to give you the best insights into LEGO deals, pricing, and more.

For example with BrickHawk Insights, when hawk alerts arrive in your inbox, you will have all the data you need to make a quicker decision on whether you should pounce on the alert or sit back and wait...

BrickHawk Insights will also give you more access to BrickHawk data across retailers, themes, hawks, parts, piece counts, trends - everything!

And finally - I genuinely hope you are all as well as you can be, and still finding time to build LEGO.

Thank you so much for your support :)

Cheers
BH.
