For this story, I found myself at the Russian State Library which is basically Russia’s main book storage. While the vast shelves and echoing halls can be overwhelming, my quest was specific: the latest statistical report about the Russian economy. Although, this was government report there were still a lot intriguing details that paint a vivid picture of how sanctions are indeed taking a toll. But there's also a story of resilience, adaptation, and the classic Russian spirit of persevering against the odds.
