Wilds of Eldraine Update

So as most of you know, I will be going to Las Vegas for side events. I will likely be playing the Secret Lair Showdowns for the Ragavan.

With that in mind, nothing in the set is really a WOW for Modern, which is what I will be focusing on for the time being.

I will likely play some form of Jeskai Wizards:

I still think it is better than Narset right now. The only consideration I have is to switch to Izzet to make it more consistent on the manabase.

Now for Pioneer:

Horned Loch-Whale (HLW)

Stroke of Midnight

Are probably the two cards that I can see being played in the deck. I am very high on HLW and think it is a great card.

My consideration right now is -1 Emperor in the main and -1 Lantern of the Lost in the side for it. I will need to test it but I think it has tons of value for the deck. It is like Discontinuity. It has utility in the early game but has late game potential too.

I might also cut Hullbreaker and Lantern for 2 HLW instead.
