Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez staked his claim as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in boxing with an electric win over modern legend Juan Francisco Estrada. I lead with that, because it's so rare that we get a fight between TWO current top 10 pound-for-pound entrants, and because the fight lived up to its billing.
Then it's over to UFC 303 and another devastating kayo from the scariest man in combat sports Alex Pereira. And then I work my way through the highlights down the undercard all the way to the early prelims to look at a very interesting prospect from Japan.

Thanks! My whole thing with Pereira-Jones as well is: well, if he’s gonna’ fight a wrestler, might as well do it IN the biggest fight then do it before and scupper a big fight before it happens.

2024-07-02 15:25:37 +0000 UTCI’m hear what your saying but I would love to se Pereira to actually fight a wrestler before he fights Jon Jones. I just feel as though he has had the best matchups for his whole mma career and I actually want to see him get challenged in a different way. I enjoy his fights obviously but haven’t gotten that excited about any of his recent matchups. Also I would absolutely hate Jon Jones easily beating the biggest star in the sport and retiring undefeated. Clearly jones doesn’t want to face Aspinall which is why I want that to happen. Great content as usual.
