2023-11-12 20:10:04 +0000 UTCThanks for the heads-up but in even more embarrassing news I think I did this BEFORE I ever heard Rogan say it, then went back to a somewhat lazy (but inadvertently correct) pronunciation but was swayed back by Ruebusch’s pronounciation on Heavy Hands! Doh!

It did seem highly improbable, that he should end up a double champ in MMA, as well. But that’s the amazing thing about following Pereira’s rise through KB and mma both. How he’s always had obvious “flaws” or exploitables in his game, while concomitantly improving just enough to keep rising to the occasion. The absolute best kind of fighter to root for. Always delivering, but the stakes still feel immense every time. “Miura-esque is Poatans arc, Kyle!”
