Story: Despite being pretty tired and out of sorts for this stream, I really enjoyed it! We ended up ironing out a better way to organize this in the Discord and I'm excited to do it again. The "mean" thing, where I kick people off, was mostly to give me the out to cut people off if they get boring or awkward. It's tough with viewers, because they may not get it like streamers do, but we have to keep the train moving and dedicate time to the topics and people that are entertaining for the hundreds or thousands that will be watching. I get a pretty bad bit of anxiety when I feel the stream is uninteresting or slow, which is why I got uneasy doing my IRL stream with IRI or video game content that I can't be a goofball during.
This is the first time I've brought on a bunch of people- mostly because I have a deep fear of people coming on and saying something stupid / getting me in trouble. I think now, that this fear is unfounded and there is actually a lot to be gained by having people on more. As I've said before, I want to make more content with other people in 2022 and begin to move away from the pure react streams. Creating a more healthy content diet of solo stuff, collabs, interviews, and viewer events- that's the goal for 2022.
