I’ve just ordered these three “affordable” San Martins! One has a Ronda Quartz, another has a Miyota 8215 and the last a YN55A! Ranging in price from $99 to $167…THOUGHTS?

TBH, I don't like any of the three.
1st: too basic.
2nd: I'm not a fan of the mini seconds view (outside of chronographs, ofc).
3rd: I like pilot watches on leather straps. It better captures the feel of the time they were used.

The middle one with the small seconds hand looks to be the best of the three. Maybe it's just me but the flieger dial just doesn't look right on a bracelet and would have looked better on the leather strap. San Martin has worked hard to build it's quality image and using the Miyota 8215 will be seen by many people as a retrograde step. They should stick with the YN55A. The reviews should be interesting. Can't wait to see them.
