Added 2019-09-06 06:00:01 +0000 UTCI'm playing a tabletop rpg called Lancer with some friends, this is my mech, I called it the bird.
one cool trick for learning how to draw robots and stuff is to find a picture of a mech to act as your base, then layer on images of parts that you want to incorporate into your design. you trace over the parts from the base to get some idea of the shapes and textures that signal that this is mechanical, then you use your imagination and what you learn to create the joints and connections with the parts you've added.
the base I used was the northstar from titanfall, idk who the original artist is.
