Plans for the rest of the month (and beyond!)

This weekend brings FIGHTS and I will go over the Giga-Calvin fight and preview the Francis-Cyril fight on this weeks episode (episode 3)
For the first exclusive Patreon post, I'm afraid to say that research has not been completed and writing has not commenced for 'The Guide To Pride....1'. I have some extra research material currently flying over from Japan that I hope will prove useful. There will be no half measures on this series, and especially not on the first episode, so please bear with me.
HOWEVER, there will be a Patreon post in the next week. I am going to revisit my 'Top 10 Greatest Fights of All Time' which was published in a Boxing News special issue back in 2013, to go over what makes those fights so great and also to see if my thoughts have changed over the last 9 years (and of course, which new candidates might now be in contention!) It will likely follow a similar format to my 'End of Year' show (episode 1) with audio from the fights spliced in. Again, this will be Patreon only.
Other plans include commentary (over the top of video) of ALL of Khabib Nurmagomedov's pre-UFC bouts (at least those that are readily available) co-chaired by a grappling expert. So again, some history, some analysis. I'm hoping this will be out in February.
I have also received agreement from the one and only Connor Ruebusch (of Heavy Hands fame) that he will allow me the audio from the mythical lost episode of 'The Fistorical Perspective', and I hope to offer that to all you lovely patrons in the next couple of weeks as well. Probably as great a find and anticipated release as Jerry Lewis' 'The Day The Clown Cried' or Jay Electronica's first album. I'm sure you guys will enjoy it even though I honestly cannot remember any of its contents (something about Joe Gans maybe, definitely some stuff about what goes into being a boxing historian, and LOTS of cussing out real people, whose names will be bleeped out in the edit)
So yeah, thanks again for your patronage and I will reward you very soon.

The over the top of video commentary sounds incredibly interesting, I suggest making that a somewhat regular thing. You could make it fan friendly as in we vote for certain fights or simply pick fights yourself, but hearing alternative commentary over fights sounds like a great idea. I especially love hearing expert commentary on striking clinics, I love a good war, but I also love the analysis of an absolute shutout.
