While some people I'm sure some people would be happy to listen to my unedited work, it's important to me that my work stays consistently funny. This resulted in about 7 minutes of audio being cut, including a few bits I liked, but ultimately felt the video could go without.
Some of the reasons I may cut segments range from leaving too much dead air (I feel it goes too long without being interesting or funny), a previous edit makes other quotes illogical/wrong, or repeats a previous point.
