New Beginnings

Hello! If you're reading this, it means you've made the leap to join my veritable fleet of Patreon supporters, together going boldly forth into new realms of VR experimentation.

You have excellent judgement. And dare I say, a refined taste in absurd internet content.

To quickly restate the elevator pitch: on my Patreon, I'll be sharing with you a wealth of pre-release content and behind-the-scenes insight. There are, at the time of writing, just a smidge fewer of us here than the population of Rome at the time it collapsed, which honestly makes me just a little concerned about our strength on the international stage, but we'll get there in time.

Let's do it! We begin with one of life's great questions...

Wii Sports? More like Why Not?

By now, you've seen the stripped-back tennis demo I've posted on twitter.

This one.

There's a lot more to this which I haven't shown yet (hint: it lies just yonder the navy blue ether), but it's gonna take some time before I reveal the full scope. In the meantime, I'd like to give you an early access pass to some New Sport.

Ping Pong!

That's right, there's a new thing. Keep it hush hush for now, it's going to be further developed soon. There's no fancy environment here yet, but there may well be soon (woohoo), and I'd highly recommend thinking about what I might be alluding to there (WOOHOO).

In the meantime, however, I must confess I have a secondary goal.

I Want Cory Barlog To Follow Me On Twitter.

Yes, you read the title. (If you're not familiar, he's the director of God of War.) This is, admittedly, an absurd goal. But I figured, well, let's see what we can do to make that happen. Thus, after dozens of hours of frenzied red-thread conspiracy board-ing, and at least minutes of forethought, I hatched the following plan: At this very evening, after updating the world about the Ping Pong test, I'll unleash this little ditty of a video upon the Twitterverse:

> [Ditty Link] <

You got that right. It's a VR recreation of the Leviathan Axe, in its full physical glory. Will this scheme work? Most definitely probably not. But this was fun as heck to make, and I just may continue to update it in the future...

...also next time, I'll remember to hide the gray boxes on the axe's head before I record.

I'll also be uploading a slightly stabilized build of this in .apk format here soon, so look forward to that!

Closing Remarks

We kid around here, it's just that kind of environment, but I want to extend to you a sincere and heartfelt thank you for supporting the work being done here. You're here early, before the rush, because either you really connected with the vibe or, more probably, as the result an impulse decision because you wanted an APK file of Wii Tennis (And a Nintendo-sanitized version is forthcoming!). I'm happy to provide it all.

Take care out there,

Sam
