Remaking from scratch ㅣIGORㅣ04.BOYFRIEND

4:35  - Organ
The first sound that came in with the piano was an organ. It sounds like a low-stopped pipe organ, with some vibrado and low notes. So I start with a two square wave. Set Osc 1 to 16'. And lower the FreqCutoff to 580 Hz and the MOD to 0. I don't need any dynamic or change here, so the envelope is simple: no attack, no decay, all sustain. I use the Modulations mode here to control the change of volume, and that's more flexible. And set the LFO to 6.3 Hz and MOD Depth 2 to 0.057, apply OSC 1 and 2 to modulate pitch subtly, and vary its frequency a bit once in a while. Then I made it sound even fatter by running it through Soundtoys Decapitator for saturation.

For the second organ, I use the same patch. but set the OSC1 to 8', and the OSC2 to 24 semitones. And add the ROTATOR from Guitar Rig 6. It is kind of like vibrato + flanger, which will provide amplitude and frequency modulation to the sound to create a psychedelic or chaotic vibe. And I basically use the default setting; it instantly creates an old, dizzy feeling.

6:47 - Pluck Bass
The last sound before the verse is a FM Pluck Bass. It has a bright and metalic tone, which gives it a super bouncy feeling. So I start with an analog sine wave and frequency modulate it with the octave 3 (saw waves, 24 semitones). The FM will bring in a lot of new high frequencies, and they are all odd hamonics. Especially for the percussion instruments, that part of sound is the main source of metallic and percussive feeling. Normally, you can hardly figure out what pitch it is. So in this pluck bass, we can bring a little in to get that feeling, and I set FM to 0.004 and modulated 48% of it with a short ENVELOPE (0 attack, 586 decay). and set the Filter Cutoff to 380 Hz, and made a more short envelope (200 decay) to modulate the cutoof (28) and reso (29) to get that elasticity. Then sidechian to the mod amount with the keyboard to get a realistic playing feeling.

12:04 - Sample
The Verse section was sampled from three parts of the Twink - Fluid (0:30:61 ~ 0:31:50)  (0:46:33 ~ 1:01:01)  (1:01:00: ~ 1:26:6). You need a higher 380 cents or 3.8 semitones, and then shorten it to 4 bars in length. And add a -6.5 Db gain around 90 Hz and a high pass filter around 43 Hz to leave some space for subbass.

19:49 - Screaming Lead
The sound here is a sound effect used to transition between the verses. It sounds like a human screaming. So I start with the modulator mode, making a fast pitch and volume up to imitate the human voice's attack. and draw a bell shape modulation to make the master tune a subtle pitch up and down in bar time. Then change the saw wave to a square wave, and SYNC Osc 2 for sound tone adjustment. And add X-MOD to 0.136; this is OPXA's FM, to get more new frequencies with it. And add a lot of overdrive to grain it. make it sound super dirty.
