my guitar is cheap, so I just tried to make a similar feeling instead of trying to remake it in a high degree. But the approach is probably similar.

Here's how I achieved the sound.

First of all, you need to modularize the sound to make it dense enough, the rotator in guitar 6 is a good choice, you don‘t needs to change anything, but a little change of DRY/WET.

Then add a chorus effect, here use echo-boy: keys-fat chorus, let the sound become more fatter.

Then make a larger high and low cut to get the lo-fi feeling.
