Added 2017-08-24 17:44:51 +0000 UTCSo this last month or so has been bug-nuts, which is a technical term. Between Comic Con, a few book events, work, traveling to Mississippi and New Orleans, and Seattle spending several days under the smokey haze of Canada, I got way behind and a little tired. On top of that, the short story I've been working on is fighting me and my agent rejected the current draft of Curses. The term "radical rewrite" might have been used. So I was kind of bummed out about that. Upside? I think I know how to fix the short story, so it should be up SOON. I promise. And as bummed as I am about Curses, the new angle I'm thinking of would add magical robot horses so...it might be for the best.
Thanks for your patience. You guys are the best. I will try to upload some extra tidbits soon to reward you. Perhaps another text convo or a few videos. Some of you out there are writers or nerds about writing, so I was thinking about doing a few short posts about writing or resource books that I love. What do you think? If you have strong feelings, let me know in the comments!
