TDE Draft Chapter 3 is coming...

I had hoped to post the draft of Chapter 3 this weekend - but life, as always, gets in the way. If I have time to finish and proof it, I'll post it during the week. However, my spare time is seriously constrained by several things, ranging from an Instructor panel meeting at my gliding club to a plasma donation (which takes so much longer than a blood donation) and boning up on the standard particle model (particularly the Feynman diagrams) for my 12 Physics students. This means it might not happen until next weekend.
Anyhow - it's currently at nearly 6,500 words so I expect it to be around 7,000+ when finished and proofed (unless I decide on major cuts). It's a complicated chapter to write as there's quite a bit of scene setting for a major part of this book...and this requires a chunk of historical research. Thus far, the internet has sufficed, but I fear I am going to have to get access to and photograph some historical maps for Chapter 4...we'll see.
