You must of missed it during the eclipse but you keep saying the behelit users (the apostles) aren’t fated to become apostles only Griffith was a fated one because he had the egg of the king the crimson behelit all the other behelits are grey even then the god hand said they’re not omnipotent beings and couldn’t see the future so technically Griffith could of denied the power but they had manipulated enough of the events around his life that they where almost certain he would choose to sacrifice them
