The current slander situation
Added 2020-10-15 13:52:34 +0000 UTCI am sure most of you are aware of the latest development going on with my review channel, if not I will bring you up to speed but I highly recommend you watch my last video about why I disabled comments.
Basically I have been falsely accused of being a racist and sexist because I showed a pic of Jesse Ventura firing the mini gun called painless in the Predator movie and said I would rather play as a character like this than a Ugandan woman as it's way more immersive. The context for this was Second Extinction game where if you choose the heavy class you are forced to play it as a Ugandan woman (I found out today it's a Cameroon woman). Now obviously it's not racist to say this, race or colour were not even mentioned in the video, it was about playing that role as a woman is not very immersive for me, it made no difference where the woman was from, I would have said exactly the same if she were French, Swiss or anywhere as it was the gender and annoying things she was saying that ruined the immersion.
The sexist remarks were because I quoted a fact that only 7% of females play first person shooters so why is it that half the characters in the game are women and that you are forced to play them again in roles that historically are way more suited to men. This is not sexist at all it's just a fact and totally common sense.
So for these apparent crimes the publisher of the game has authorised this women who was my PR contact for numerous development studios to weaponize her twitter account and direct vile and horrible abuse at me. Calling on the gaming industry to blacklist me and is trying to get me taken down (cancelled). I am ofc suing her for slander and any other Youtuber that jumps on her bandwagon and calls me a racist or a sexist as is my right.
I think the great thing about this has been the total unwavering support from my community, it's blown me away, a few also pointed out my Port Royale video where I was one of the only reviewers to complain that the developers had air brushed the slave trade out of the game. Everyone else was happy about this except me, I mentioned that these things should never be forgotten and removing them from the game is totally wrong.
Anyway I have a lot to do at the moment with solicitors and preparing my case so I am going to have to take a few days to sort it all out. Thanks again for you support.
