Time for a long overdue update!

So... It's been quite some time since the last update, sorry for the lack posts on progress and everything over the last year it has been a quite a hectic time. I want to thanks everyone who follows and supports the channel for you patience! and I can confirm you won't have to wait much longer for the next video!

So first where have I been?
Well alongside my usual work and social commitments, last year was incredibly busy as my partner and I bought a house, which was definitely took up a lot of our focus and was quite a stressful process, however In December we got the keys to new home and I'm happy to say we are very happy! It's quite an old house and needs quite a bit of work in some places but we have been settling in well.

What have you been working on?
The complete history of Smash 4, which I have to say is my biggest and most ambitious video to date... and I'm not just saying that the script is over 20,000 words and the video is looking like it will be just short of 2 hours!
It has been a mammoth effort to get this video together, and feels like an never ending saga that has been a part of my life for the last 2 years.
Over the last year It's been a real trial to try and find a good balance of work and life, as I was working full time at a company which meant that weekends and evening were the only time I would have to work on content for RES, which again was hard to balance with having healthy social life along side full time work and creating these extensive, highly produced videos all on my own.
  
Have you given up?
The thought has never even entered my mind, last year the channel finally got partnered which was a massive milestone, and is a massive step forward for the channel, however we're still a long way of this channel being able to be my full time job. also with the complete history series being so extensive and demand to produce, I may have to think about my process and the content produced for this channel in the future. 
But I would be lying if I didn't have doubts and reservations to how much I can achieve at the current pace at which I have been producing content, and how much It would take to make the channel self-sustaining.
However Overall I remain committed and passionate to creating content, and growing this channel.
so In the future expect to see more content, and a few different formats of video.
 
How long until the next video?
I can't give an exact date, but only have 2 sections left to edit so hopefully I should have it fully in the next 2-3 weeks.  At the moment I have found myself with a lot more time that I can dedicate to video as my full time job has been made redundant, so I'm currently freelancing and applying for other full time positions so in between that I have been using as much time as I can to get this video out there and also further the development of this channel!
