I’m glad I finally watched 2001 a space odyssey and Contact this year before watching Interstellar for the first time. Especially since Contact also stars Matthew McConaughey. Though his character is the more spiritual/religious one. It also includes a father/daughter relationship.

Like completely altered my brain chemistry (no pun intended) at 17
