TMAB (This Month at Braytech)
Added 2022-09-28 05:26:33 +0000 UTCIt's Season of Plunder and the weather is disappointing – or at least it is in Brisbane.
The first few weeks are always about patching bugs and bring Braytech up to speed with API changes and content amendments to support the new season. That went fine.
Then I got really depressed, like more so than usual and I guess that's what today's post is really about: a shareholder call to reassure the patrons that I am in fact not dead (yet) and that I do, as I always have, feel accountable for the frequency and quality of additions to Braytech and adjacent products, especially as it's like, my entire livelihood.
That said, if I had chosen the ad-supported route, I'd never have needed to keep the ads assured of any ongoing commitments. Cut and run, girl!
I've been meaning to write this post for a week and I finally mustered the motivation and confidence. Self-high five.
I have a backlog of suggestions to work through, but if you'd like to add to it, by all means!

There will always be someone asking for more. Just don't lose sight of what you have already built and the huge community you help enjoy their favorite game a little bit better every time they play. Depression is a pain in the arse, and I know how hard it is to start doing anything when the black dog is in residence. You've got a good supportive community here.

I've always loved Braytech, at first for the look and feel but now for the indispensable utility as well. I took a nearly complete hiatus for a couple of seasons... jumping back in recently, one of the first things I realized I needed to do was to catch up on exotics from Lost Sectors... I grumbled to myself and started putting the pieces that I needed together from like 3 different websites... and then I found that Braytech has a page that lays it all out by day, tells me what I haven't unlocked, and will also send me a push notification? Dude you are amazing, and I hope you're able to take some time and take care of yourself!
