I struggle severely with finding motivation to write change logs for Braytech. It's a little section towards the bottom of the landing page that details what I've done with each new version which I deploy. So, you can imagine how I feel about positing to Patreon and the blog that also lives on Braytech's landing page!

I'm sure it's for multiple reasons including; I'm not making something better and I'm reflecting on what I've done and as I have some perfectionist tendencies, it's a reminder of a lack of satisfaction in the quality of my work. Look, I'm obviously emotionally unstable. 😌

With all this said, what a bloody expansion! Pretty, pretty pretty, good.

I may update this post with more things as they come to mind... Please enjoy the screenshot dump 🥰

I need to use the app more. Thanks for the hard work!

Ditto, great app, helps me manage my time in Destiny and set goals. Easy to use, and along with DIM, is worthy of the Patreon support I'm giving. I see it as at the same level, and you're only 1 person doing it so please keep up the good work

I agree with everyone else. I use the app every time I play. I was a bit freaked out when I couldn't find the checklists any longer, but once I found them in the map it made perfect sense to be there rather than a separate page as before. So, thank you for all your work!

Sounds like imposter syndrome to me. Relax Tom. Braytech is one of the most well-made Web Apps out there. Not just among Destiny community projects, but literally overall on the internet. I say this not just as an admiring user, but also a lead developer with 20 years experience building web stuff. Keep up the good work, and don’t be afraid to assert, both to yourself and in public, that you’ve made and are maintaining an awesome project. And when perfectionism kicks in, just remember that perfection isn’t just creating the perfect site/app, it’s making the best you can with the limited time and resources available to you. And the person setting the time/resource budget should be you, taking into account your personal needs. Only within your budget should you care about perfection. And inevitably that means you’ll have to be pragmatic in certain areas to increase the overal level of perfection.
