Weekly Recap

[Week 12: March 22nd  - March 28th]

Hey Songuardians,

First of all, it is Brianna’s birthday today! We wish her a happy birthday and thank her for all the time and work that she puts into running and working on the various projects of Songoda throughout the years. If it wasn’t for her, Songoda might have never existed, so we might not be here now. Don’t forget to wish her a happy birthday if you see her around!

We also want to celebrate two years since the marketplace was first released, and look back at how much it has grown since the initial release to now being one of the major contending marketplaces for plugins. We hope that this year will bring many improvements and growth as we work on improving it every day. We also want to give you the creators and users a big thank you for making the marketplace what it is today. Without your help and support, we wouldn’t have grown to the size we are today.

Over at development, the recent update of UltimateClaims was released with some new highly requested features, we will continue to work on feature requests for UltimateClaims and other plugins as time goes on. We will still also be working to keep up with the bug reports as they come in.

Over in the Marketplace, our Marketplace manager Fran, and also JustMaffie, one of our Marketplace Developers have recently released an update which drastically speeds up the loading time of the homepage, and they are working on the updating the rest of the pages. This is a big step in the right direction of fixing one of the most pressing and reported issues on the marketplace, and we expect them to do great things to help with the overall marketplace as time goes on.

Over on the plugin support team, applications have been going smoothly, so you can expect some new faces to join the support team soon, this will help to speed up the support queue as we get closer to the easter break.
