Deck and SB guide, effective 10/7/2022

Hello hello hello everyone, here is the link to the updated Hammer list effective 10/7/22. You'll notice some small changes from last month, which I will cover below. As I have been testing for the SCG DFW 30K, I expect slightly more UW control than normal, and I expect a decent amount of living end as well as 4C Control or Creativity.

Of course, make sure to adjust your mid-match decisions based on the specifics of any list you face and use this as a guideline, rather than a hard and fast rule!

-0 relics/GY hate - Still very happy with this. Without Living End, the GY hate is unnecessary, as we are strong against just about every deck that we bring in Relic against. Also, I found that Relic was too slow vs Living End to matter that much

-2 MD Skill - I had to make room for a 17-card SB, and Skill is the most universally applicable card that I can cast off of basic plains.

-3 Lavinia - Not only is she still excellent against Cascade and 4C Elementals, but with her stopping Leyline Binding, she continues to be one of your best tools, and a primary pull towards blue.

-0 Memnite - I found that with the slight uptick in W6 and the downtick in UR murktide, the card is largely not necessary. As such, I have moved 1 pierce to the main to replace it. You could also replace the memnite with Steelshaper's Gift, Nettlecyst, or even a Lavinia.

-2 T3f in the SB: The card does a lot of work against control decks since it addresses their counterspells as well as chalice of the void and leyline binding. Since you often have 4x Skills post-board it's also reasonable to protect the t3f after he comes down and bounces the binding.
