I paid the 1 dollar tier just to comment and I just wanted to say that while I do love 3.0+1.0 more than you guys did, I definitely am enjoying hearing your takes about it. I am a very new fan to Eva and seeing 3.0+1.0 in theaters after catching up with the franchise was something truly special to me and I loved the film and the positive ending it gave to the cast. It truly felt like the therapy to End of Eva's intervention for me and I think it stands well as a definitive ending to Shinji's story. Edit: I got to the part about how this film could've been more like the first half and I do love that POV and makes me think about how cool it could've been. Edit 2.0: After sitting on it i have to agree as even a fan of this film, that i too wish the whole film was just like the first half lol. I think having the whole film be like that frankly would've been way more Eva than them jumping head first into the confusing mumbo jumbo and have a more character driven narrative all the way through.

Oh wow, no one's actually pointed out the static yet. Really strange! It didn't pop up with any of my check throughs, might be something with the file conversion to MP3 or even the upload? Regardless, sorry about that!

Y'all have some interesting takes. I generally don't agree at all on this one and actually felt really satisfied (to say the least) with the whole of it. 3.0+1.0 is on my top of 2021. Not interested in debating or even explaining, so that's all. BTW, the last 10-ish seconds of the podcast has some crazy static. Was that intentional?
