Sh!t Shooters - Episode 1: Pivoting With The Sniffles

We used to have a show like this called This Is Not A Tokusatsu Podcast where we did anything but talk about tokusatsu, but now that Explode When Defeated is thinking of tackling more than just tokusatsu, we're taking that limitation off! Now we're unstoppable! In Shit Shooters, Wyatt and I both bring to the table a few topics that they just wanna chat about for a while and we have a fun conversation about it. It's mostly an excuse to talk about video games or manga or whatever that we wouldn't get to talk about in a podcast otherwise.
In this first episode, we inadvertently manage to talk about all of our most typical topics: JRPGs, shonen manga, cartoons, and weird artsy stuff. If you wanna get specific about it, there's some Xenosaga discussion, some Killer7 discussion (no spoilers in either case), Wyatt talks about Transformers Cyberverse and how it's both disappointing as hell AND super impressive, and Nicky talks some Berserk and how it starts in a really fascinating way.
We start off in the first 10 minutes or so talking about the relaunch and our plans in general so if you want some personal takes on that then that's there too! Oh, also the entire time Nicky's ass is being absolutely whooped by some allergies or hay fever or something so they're sniffin up a storm. There was an attempt to mitigate this in the edit but it's not TOO bad. Just excuse the occasional sniffs lol.
