In which I get carried away talking about Kamen Rider Blade, an awkward, cloying masterpiece of a Tokusatsu show. It's one of my favorite things on the planet.

After an entire fucking SAGA of YouTube blocking this video, causing me to waste literal DAYS of my LIFE re-editing and re-uploading it to try and appease my digital masters, I have finally created a version that YouTube will accept, with minimal compromises. (though the video is blocked in Japan like my Kuuga and Ryuki videos.) I was *this* close to uploading a horrible, petty version of this video with a giant overlay and border, but thankfully I was able to finally fucking avoid it. So if you're wondering why there are such long crossfades after a certain point, this would be the reason.

So yeah, this video much like the show in question may not be my best or most concise work, but it's a video that I think embodies the whole (or most of the whole) of my takes on this beautiful, fucking bizarre show. It's heartfelt and overly long, and like I said on yesterday's episode of This Is Not a Tokusatsu Podcast, I don't think I'll be making anything this long ever again. Too much of a hassle and I really value being concise lol. So yeah, enjoy! and stay tuned at the end of June for my video on the Super Sentai classic "Gekisou Sentai Carranger".
