Eh, must not have been that important. Much as I would have liked to have done a ton of work on the game, most of this month was taken up by the end of my 'real' job, and then giving myself a half-vacation to get over the weird slump I was in (if you noticed, the theme of the last couple of updates were very 'I'm in a slump' without actually admitting it to myself).
I also got myself a little over-excited about getting some 'audience participation' with the previous post, and the response was... underwhelming, shall we say. Still, I'd like to do some more things like that in the future, but maybe we'll hold off until updates get a little more regular.
Still, I'm going to keep plugging away at the game, slow and steady. As things get done, I'll be sure to update everybody, and patrons will get early access of at least a week for any new builds. And if I end up being super-extra slow again this month, I'll definitely release whatever I have in a 'test build' to patrons about halfway through the month, so you people who are okay with a rougher experience can still check and see where things are.
Either way, for those of you who chose to support me, you have my sincere thanks. Just knowing that there are folks out there looking for this kind of content is super cool, and I'm grateful for all the kind words. I'm going to continue working on this little (big) project, and if you'd like to come along for the journey, I'm glad to have you!
