Welcome, new friends!

Hey everyone! Wow! So many new folks this week! I'm a bit overwhelmed, to be honest. I started this project to finally just go and *do the thing* instead of telling myself over and over, and I am so happy at the response! It's great to see so many people interested in the story I'm telling, and this now means that I can start ramping up efforts to get some quality artwork included as well!

Thanks to all of your contributions, here's a bit of commissioned artwork of Kiva's 'normal' size from the very excellent Sayer Raider (you can check out more of their work on Twitter and DeviantArt )! There is a 'bigger' size of Kiva as well, but I need to keep at least a few things as a surprise for later =p

Also, Sayer Raider is currently working on another set of character portraits for Tabs as well, and I'm hoping to get at least black-and-white art of each of the characters done within the next month or two so I can import them into the game and use them properly with scenes going forward, but that will be based on their schedule more than mine.

As for my schedule, I've been writing up the scripts for the scenes that happen during the ascent up the mountainside toward the mine, and the confrontation with the leader of the harpies. I'm pretty pleased with the writing side, so once that gets in, the next steps will be a whole bunch of combat updates. New enemies, new skills, new equipment, and a whole bunch of playtesting to make sure that it feels right to play through. But I can definitely use help with that last part, so when it's ready for testing, I'll be releasing another Patrons-only build in the 'extremely unfinished' state, and we'll use the feedback channel in the Discord to talk about it.

But again, thank you all for coming along with me on this journey! There's still a *lot* of story to tell, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
