End of May update (Patrons-only preview release)

So here we are at the end of May. For those of you in the US, I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend. Progress on the game has been off-and-on while I do my other job and deal with life things, but I have been slowly chipping away at it. This one isn't really up to my standards of quality, but you guys have been awesome for supporting me, and I wanted to at least make this available for you if you want to play around with the couple of new things that have made it in. This post won't be going public, which makes it my first-ever "patrons only" post, but if you guys want to be crash-test dummies and try things out in development, here's your chance!

And if in-progress stuff isn't as interesting to you, no worries! I'm going to continue chipping away at this in bits and pieces as we go, and things will definitely pick up speed in the next few months. My current part-time job contract is coming to an end, after which I'm planning to have a few months off before my next contract, so I'll have some time to really dedicate to getting stuff done on the game.
So next up for the game? The next dungeon. Our heroes have been briefed on where we're going, but now it's time to actually go there! Alongside this content update, I'm also going to be taking a long look at combat balance, making sure enemy stats are good, leveling up doesn't take too much grinding (because I don't want this to be a grind-heavy game. You're saving the world, not doing chores!), and also we're going to get our first proper blacksmith's shop to buy new equipment!
