Writing: The intro demo is very nearly done, I suspect it'll only be a few more sessions until I can let is rest. Like with Forks, I always begin with an outline of events, then let the characters take it from there. The end result can significantly deviate from my plans, which in turns means I need to draft new ones, but the upside seems to be stronger character voices, rather than the writer's. People enjoyed Forks's characters, so I'm approaching Aria from the same direction. I've attached another excerpt of what you can expect to see in the first demo.
Drawing: Toro's been busy with future characters, and has finished Fei! I'll post another character intro for her after posting this update. This new sketch actually replaces one of our oldest characters, a time-traveler stuck in a loop. We've nixed that and gone a little more isekai- she's certainly got the stature for it! This new character won't be in the first demo, but will be discoverable early on.
Music/Coding: Ars and e have taken the week to focus on their primary jobs. Once all of the demo's writing has been edited, he'll continue to implement it into his new engine.
I'd like to post new screenshots soon, seems things really don't come together until the very end!
