Process
Added 2023-01-22 03:59:34 +0000 UTCI like to use the brute force method, and generate as much as I possibly can of quality. My prompts usually have a yield rate of around 10-20%, sometimes as low as 1-4 images per 100 images.
1. Experiment, experiment, experiment on every prompt, trying to figure out what consistently, or sometimes makes what you want. You will sometimes get huge batches where you get fucking nothing, but you know the prompt does sometimes reveal gems. It is all part of the process. Experimenting should be done at around 512x512 and then highres fix to 1024x1024 at around 55 denoiser. Anything higher I found doesn't produce that good of results, your base images shouldn't need that much correction.
1.5. If you have the vram, use the approximate generation tab so you can see the process in which the denoiser works. At some point you should be good enough to know when to skip. Skipping is important if you are actively there, sometimes shit just not is what you are looking for, just skip it, don't feel bad.
2. Hit generate forever before going to bed and then go to fucking sleep.
3. Wake up in the morning, choose all the best candidates for either more work in photoshop, or to go into even higher resolutions. Some models don't work well unless at extremely high resolutions, especially realism and anime models.
4. Fix all the issues of the picture with simple marks, you don't have to go insane, but you should know enough that the denoiser can do the work. After editing, go to img2img and use the lowest denoiser you can in order to keep the image you want, but also fix your issues.
5. Upload. As soon as you hit upload though, you will see all the mistakes that you missed, sad reality and FACTS. *Ben Shapiro jump scare gif.*
Some opinions I always wanted to say.
Try to have FUN, and if artists harass you, troll them, there is no point in debating them, they aren't looking for debate or anything to change their minds. You are just the newest target on the rage train.
