March Update and Future Plans

Hello everyone!

As some of you may be aware already, I've updated the end-slate with the names of all active supporters at the change of the month, though I let it sit for a week so Patreon could work out any of the payment kinks that seem to crop up here and there. This is the first month that I've been substituting names, as per the comments on this post, (https://www.patreon.com/posts/end-slate-names-16924325) do be sure to check if your name has been updated correctly :)

I'm having a massive amount of fun with Expeditions: VIKING right now. I hope all of you are as well, I'm really thankful that I've gotten the chance to return to the series! At the moment there are lots of other games coming out, so it's unlikely I'm going to have the time to start up a second Unfinished Series in the coming month at least, but I'll keep watching the way things go. As my Patreon support continues to grow, having two 'weaker' series running on the channel becomes much more feasible.

Outside of channel related things however, I'm starting to save up towards buying a new cage for the ferrets. It'll be another Ferret Nation cage (they're fantastically well made, and huge, so the girls have plenty of space to enjoy themselves inside) specifically to go in my office. I've really missed having them watching over my shoulder and being able to easily snap pictures / videos of them when they're being super cute randomly.

Previously, in my old house I had their cage in the living room with me (where I had my office setup) and if they got particularly rambunctious while I was recording I'd have to move them to a much smaller cage in the spare room. Something I never felt happy about, so when I moved to my new place, and had much more space, I decided that as much as I missed having them near by it was better if their cage got set up in a room all their own so they wouldn't have to be moved around if they were being noisy while playing. So getting a second cage will allow me to bring them back 'to work' with me and not feel bad about having to move them if I really need to knuckle down to work when all Ciri wants to do is dance and sing and try to eat Midna's nose while she sleeps -__-

These cages are a bit pricey though, but you get what you pay for with this sort of thing and I'm unwilling to compromise on quality where the girls are concerned. So before Patreon, it wasn't really something I could budget for, but now I can afford to put a bit aside each month and it shouldn't be long before I can get that ordered, and we see a return of ferret cam during live streams and random videos made up of all the little clips I record of them being cute :D

Once the new ferret cage is purchased, my aim will be to save up and build a new Streaming / Recording PC. Having experienced what a massive difference it makes when my PC is simply recording footage rather than also playing the game (when I've been recording Monster Hunter via my PS4) I think this will be an enormous improvement for the channel, not only will it let me stream at much higher quality, but I'll likely record all of my series for YT this way as well. I'm /really/ looking forward to this, and hopefully it won't be long until I can commit the funds to it, as a PC dedicated to streaming/recording doesn't need to be as robust and graphically capable as a gaming PC, so the costs will be a lot lower than simply upgrading my gaming PC to continue doing all the jobs at once!

But that's it for this update post, just a bit of a glimpse of my immediate plans. Hope you're all enjoying the current series on the channel (and the more frequent streams!)

Take care :)

Just updated my name to show my YouTube handle. No need to change the transport name on Surviving Mars... unless it has perished... No spoilers!!

Ah, thanks for catching the mistake, I'll update the namelist and re-render the end slate immediately :)

I'm terribly sorry, but my username got misspelled. It's MrsFeanor (ea vs ae). I know those vowels are terrible with dyslexia, but, if it helps, it's from the Silmarillion. Thank you!
