Heads up about taxes on donations from certain regions
Added 2021-07-07 00:04:11 +0000 UTCJust a post for full transparency, evidently Patreon has to apply taxes to a few new regions starting on July 15th for new patrons, and August 1st for existing patrons. The new regions affected seem to be Florida, Kansas, Canada, and Thailand. According to the e-mail I was sent regarding this, if you're affected by this, you should get an e-mail explaining more about it around July 12th. I hope this doesn't cause any problems, and as always, while support and donations are deeply appreciated, I totally understand if you need to take care of yourself first.
