You wonder if a very young looking Gordon Motion is aware this is still available on YouTube. 200 sheets is overkill surely. I wish the Scotch Whisky Research Institute would do some serious research and blind tasting on this. How much flavour/mouth feel is removed. The last time they looked at Chill Filtration was 2008! Their main discovery was that nearly all the haze floc was stemming from the Malt element of the blend, so chill filtering the grain was basically pointless.

Sounds like something a wise man tells us regularly! Thanks again Ralfy. Maybe more distillers should listen to the whisky loving consumer and less to the uninformed.

They take pride in their man handled chill filtered, orange glowing liquid. Corporate brands should have let nature and time do all the hard work but in order to appeal to the masses and make more money this must be done. Unfortunately some people are frightened and even threatened by pure natural beauty. They want to see evidence of that human 'mark'.
