Y'know, I've been meaning to get to that Dave Weigel book for a while - as someone who loves prog rock and likes seeing his takes on social media, I'd love to read his perspective. And of course, it might help for that Yes video I eventually wanna do :D

Hi Peter!! Appreciate the love - would love to eventually do a Priest video for the main channel, and that's a solid suggestion for a framing theme.

That’s an excellent update, Rezi! I really appreciate your efforts in contextualizing the music you talk about and emphasizing the cultural intricacies of their moments. As for a future idea, would a full-blown exploration Judas Priest and Rob Halford’s simultaneous wilderness years be a good idea? Rob and KK’s books are solid sources, and 2wo is always a fun phase to discuss.

Appreciate the update Rezi! Definitely agree in taking your time. You have put a lot of work into this series. If you want some music references for future ideas, I can offer some: 1. Trash Theory, a great YouTube channel that looks at a lot of British rock/pop acts as well as alternative rock genres. 2. Simon Reynolds books, Rip It Up and Start Again (Post Punk 1978-1984), Shock and Awe (70s glam rock), and Futuromania (on the development of electronic music), all three are great, though for Rip It Up, get the UK version from Faber and Faber, the US version of Rip It Up is heavily bowdlerized. And 3. The Show That Never Ends by Dave Wigel for Prog Rock.
