A lot of you wanted Android 11 on RG552, but ended up preferring Android 9 in the end for one reason or another. (Hey, its your choice, all the power to you!)
Due to technical limitations (bootloader requirements, etc) it is necessary to re-partition the RG552 emmc as part of the flashing process whenever the Android 9 / 11 boundary gets crossed. This is because the newer Android 11 bootloader uses dynamic partitions rather than static ones (as was the case with the bootloader used by Android 9 and below).
Normally this is done via MaskROM installs, but as it turns out MaskROM can be a tough beast to tame whenever a bootloader swap is involved, making things needlessly complicated for you, the user.
To make the move between Android revisions easier, I've retro-fitted the latest RG552 builds for each Android revision (Beta #6 for 8.1, Beta #15 for 9.0) with SDFlash packages which you can use to easily hop between revisions with the help of a spare >= 4GB MicroSD card.
Please make sure to read the included README.txt file contained within the SDFlash packages for further instructions should you see yourself going down that route!
I hope this made someone's day a little more enjoyable!
