Anbernic RG552 AOSP 9.0 Beta #13 (XBOX game pass & Loco Roco)
Added 2022-03-19 17:00:37 +0000 UTCThe (now-redundant) L1+R1+Y/X/A navigation shortcuts got removed as they interfered with games like Loco Roco.
And we fixed a XBOX game pass issue that caused a black bar on the right-hand side of the screen to pop up during game streams.
This issue was related to a special case handler inside the PhoneWindowManager framework class who's job it is to reduce the visible width of app fragments while the navigation bar is on-screen.
Sadly, XBOX game pass does not re-calculate the visible width as it changes views, as such the visible width is never updated once the navigation bar disappears (which left us with this horrible black bar).
How to install: Unpack the attached files using 7zip and follow the included instructions found inside README.txt.
Things to note when updating from a previous build: If you previously had Google Apps installed, please make sure you re-install them after the update to avoid crashes!
For those needing the Google Play Store: Reboot into TWRP and install the latest OpenGapps ARM64 9.0 Pico bundle! (I suggest you finish the first-time setup with WiFi disabled... things move so much faster if you do!)
For those needing root: Magisk is included out of box and only needs to be activated on first boot. A WiFi connection is required for the initial Magisk activation.
