Asteya Meditation
Added 2023-05-26 16:22:40 +0000 UTCDearest wonderful Patrons,
Maybe you've already noticed that this month has been unfolding a little differently. Rather than post our practice video & the blog(?) (what do I call the words bit?) on the same day, I thought that I'd give the words some time to marinade.
In addition to allowing the concept of our theme to be absorbed, fewer practices released at once can help to relieve any sense of overwhelm that you may feel.
In this meditation, we hold a Mudra or gesture in our hands. Mudra is often translated as a seal or gesture. They work by directing energy that runs through the Nadis (energetic channels). Like switches, they can create or cut the flow of prana to various areas of our bodies.
Padma Mudra directs prana back toward your heart centre, inspires purity, and perseverance, calms the mind, and opens you to inspiration as it rebalances the energy of your heart chakra (Anahata).
I hope you enjoy this meditation.
I'm so grateful that you're here. You fill up this squishy heart way past the brim, spilling feelings all over the place.
