I need your opinions and advice.

I have a question and I would like your help and opinions to make a decision. There will be a vote following this message.

I'm wondering if some of our characters, including Iris, Jazmine, and the Asian characters (or twins etc etc...), would be accepted on Steam, which would mean using the Patreon version on Steam as well.

The problem is that Steam is unpredictable. Sometimes, it allows questionable things, and other times, it rejects content that doesn't seem problematic. For example, there's a game that was accepted on Steam but banned here on Patreon. Just as there are games on Patreon but banned by Steam.
So, it's very hard to know what will be approved or not.

The issue is that with Steam, it's all or nothing. If it gets approved, they welcome you, which is great. If not, they reject it, and there's no opportunity to make changes. It's a lifetime ban for the game. You can't make any modifications. So, it's very risky.

To test this, I think the simplest way would be to create a new short game with limited content but very fast-paced adult content and publish it on Steam to see if it gets approved.

I've already thought about the scenario for this new game.
It would be very simple and straightforward:

After the end of the high school term, the parents of these characters tell them:
"You turned 18 at the beginning of the year, high school just ended, and you failed your studies because you weren't serious enough and didn't study hard enough...
Now it's time for a lesson: you're leaving home and going to work."

So, Iris, Jazmine, and the Asian characters would move into a small house together, and we'd follow their lives and adventures. Nothing overly explicit, but plenty of sexy scenes:

-The girls might look for a job and they could go shopping for work outfits, and we could see them changing.

-They might take showers together.

-They could decide to go to the beach together and maybe try taking off their bikini tops, things like that. They could challenge each other with sexy dares.

-They might even, perhaps, 'experiment 'with each other.

Really, the theme of the game in my mind would be beach, sun, surfing, tanning, fun, volleyball, dares, cocktails, dolphins...
I have all these things in mind.

Important:
-This game will have nothing to do with the main game. It's important to understand that I will only use the character models.
Their personalities and stories will be completely different. And not related to The Last Oasis Before Chastity.

-And as I said, for those who are worried about NTR, there is no plan to include a male character.
But if the game is accepted on Steam and makes money, I could consider using the revenue to hire someone to completely take over the game's development.

Since I won't have time to work on it, it will be someone who does everything for me, selected according to specific criteria, of course.
And if a male character is included in the game, his appearance will be exactly like that of the MC you already know.
No matter what happens, I will not continue the development of this small test game myself, but if it succeeds, it will be continued by someone else.

The only downside of this approach is that it would mean putting the main game on hold for 2 to 3 months while I create this new game. I'll make something very quick, perhaps less polished than our current main game, just to test Steam.

All patrons will receive a free key for this game, so you won't have to purchase it.
Even if the main game slows down, if the new game gets approved on Steam, you'll still get new content. And if the game gets rejected by Steam, I'll put it on Itch.io instead. So, you will still have content.

Important:
So for now, nothing changes in terms of the main game's development.
A bonus update is about to be finalized. I'm finishing the last videos, and they will be sent to the first selected beta testers this weekend.
The main game is still being developed.
I haven't made any decisions yet. I'm sharing this with you because it's very difficult for me and I'm struggling with it.

And if the game gets rejected by Steam, I would have to change Iris's appearance. But rest assured, I already have a hundred different versions of Iris on my computer. I've been working on this since February.
That's why I'm starting to suffer physically and mentally, because it's becoming very hard for me. I've reached a point where I love them all and hate them all, because they are all very good, but they're not the real Iris.

I can also, if you tell me not to create a test game, publish the game on Steam as planned, with other characters.
Since it won't be just her who changes. Gladys will change. Other characters will change too...
But... Iris, I don't know, it would really bother me to change her.
Iris is the soul of The Last Oasis Before Chastity, and even though I really like all the other characters, I realize that I can't see myself making the game without her.

But why not? Anyway, that was the original plan. But I still would have liked to test the real Iris before...

I want to hear your opinions. So for now, I haven't started anything. Anyway, I will hold a vote Saturday 22:00 CET and take everyone's opinions into account before making a decision.
