So I imagined this girl particularly enjoying doing it, surely having the idea that it will be a long and complex game, which will require countless attempts before the explosion finally happens.
I wanted to represent the balloon particularly inflated and tense, as if to suggest that the girl wanted to make the task easier for herself, making it extremely vulnerable to pressure and from the way she crushes it I tried to convey that although she is having fun teasing it a little, she is putting extreme emphasis on making it pop and getting the better of him.
