January Update

I don't have a ton to update on this month because it's mostly the same story as previous months. I'm working hard on it and it increasingly surprises me what this project is taking to get done. It's way closer to the to the finish line than before and it should be done in February, but we'll see what happens! There's this clashing reality of wanting it to be done soon and wanting it to be the best it possibly can be since it's taken so long, so ironically it is taking even more time because of the level of detail that's going into it. I should have started tracking my labor time a while ago, because I suspect that I've spent more time on this video than I have spent playing all of the Splatoon games combined (it'd be a fun number to see).
Thanks for sticking with me! I'm really happy with what I have so far and I think it'll be worth the wait, even if I totally regret deciding to make a video of this scale! (This is my life's work at this point.) I'd rather not share any more of the video itself until you can just watch it in full, so here's some out of context screenshots :)
